Review summary
Based on recent reviews

The Lakes Rookley Holiday Park offers well-maintained grounds and is centrally located for exploring the island. Cottages near the lake are favored, and the two-bedroom lakeside cottages are considered a decent size, some including hot tubs. While some guests have noted stiff front doors or a damp smell in the bathroom, the caravans are generally clean and modern, equipped with dishwashers and washing machines, providing good value for money.

I like come and go when you like because you get a key you have to look after. I could, I could do what I liked. It feel like home from home, it was perfect. The staff at reception was cute, and very helpful at check in.
When i booked I ask them which one of your resorts has the best entertainment and things do do, they said this one as there are 4 away resorts. Lol. The host for the entertainment was a great guy, but the venue lack the wow factor, so be prepared to be board.

the grounds were maintained well.
The cottage had some issues. The oven only worked on grill mode, which extended cooking times significantly, especially for pizzas. in the morning, rats had consumed an entire loaf of bread, scattering debris around the kitchen. This triggered severe allergies for one guest.
